President

Born in Szczecin, Andrew Kaminski came to the United States at the age of twelve. He studied at St. John's University in Queens, where from his second year he served as president of the student body, and then read law at the City University of New York School of Law. Before the bar he spent twenty years as an insurance adjuster, negotiating claims from the other side of the table, and represented injured workers before the administrative court of the Workers' Compensation Board. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

His record in Polonia is just as long. For fifteen years he sat on the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union. He served as president of the Polish Sea League of America. He organized the Polish Heritage Celebration honored at Brooklyn Borough Hall in October 2019, signed the Division's official statement on the desecration of the Father Jerzy Popiełuszko statue in 2021, and writes to the members of the Division in Polish and in English. He has returned to Poland eighty-seven times.
